We had chips & queso, nachos, quesadillas, caldo de pollo, elote, shishito peppers & 3 different cocktails. The chips are freshly made, everything was seasoned great. Service was on point. We went at 8pm on a Thursday with a reservation. They told us up front that they had a wait in the kitchen, which was fine because we had time to order drinks and look over the menu. Everything was clean, staff was friendly. I love that they kept the Christmas theme to keep Campo Verde a nostalgical staple of Arlington, TX!
This was my first visit in over 20 years. My wife wanted to see the decorations, and we both wanted Tex-Mex, so it was a win win. The meal comes with cheese sauce and salsa. Both were really good! The chips are some of the best I've had. The enchiladas, tacos, chili rellenos, beans and rice are all very good. The decorations are insanely hypnotic. They did an amazing job. They passed the true test though. The food easily stands on its own without the decor.
Amazing location that has to have the single most one of a kind decorating. A Christmas theme style that kicked my serotonin levels up as soon as I entered the establishment. The food was hands down amazing and the serving sizes to price ratio was wonderful. Drinks were top notch and the server went above and beyond. The Carona Rita was new to me, but has become my favorite drink to order. Drinks are strong and mixed to perfection. The staff was pleasant and made my money feel it was truly earned. I will most definitely be returning every chance I get when visiting the DFW area!
